Teaser Tuesday (Nov. 10)

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Miz B from Should Be Reading.
The rules are as follows:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Harris nodded sadly; the fact that his mother was happy to believe he was dead and obviously disappointed to see him alive was highly unsettling.

This is the first I've seen this. All by itself, it does sound terrible. Yeah, mom was definitely messed up in the head.
